Happy Birthday Da Da......

Today Daddy turned 50 years old, yes that big five oh! We took him out for Dinner for his big day. This weekend we are having a small party for him. Daddy really dind't want to have a party, but mommy told him that we were going to have something for the big Five Oh! Daddy got a very nice Birthday gift, since he didn't want a big party - mom spent that mommy on a cruise to Alaska. Daddy always wanted to go to Alaska. So daddy, mommy, and Peter and Anna are all going. It should be a lot of fun.

June 7th, 2007 - we had a party for kerry for his 50th Birthday. Originally it was just suppose to be immediate family and no one else, but since when does mommy listen to daddy. Margaret (mommy) invited a few of daddy's frinds too to the party. Daddy was quite surprised when he saw his friends walking into the backyard.

Unfortunately, the days after Daddy's birthday weren't as fun. Both kids turned out to get sick. But after a week of sleepless nights and both kids being needy - they are both healthy and happy - just in time for our trip to Alaska.

03/05/2008 - Anna became a U.S. Citizen once we landed in Dallas Ft. Worth, Texas Airport. Pick up Trip February 28 - March 5, 2008.
03/04/2008 - Anna got her Visa to go home.
03/03/2008 . Anna´s Embassy appointment.
02/29/2008 - Anna went to the U.S. Embassy Dr. for her final check up - she now weighs 16 lbs 11 ounces. She also got 2 shots.

02/11/2008 - 2nd DNA received at the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala at 3:27pm (New York time). YIPPIE!
02/08/2008 - 2nd DNA is being Fed Ex to the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala
02/07/2008 - The documents that the U.S. Embassy requested, were handing in today.
02/06/2008 - got a I-72 form from the U.S. Embassy requesting 2 documents.
02/05/2008 - 2nd DNA Fed Ex - to the lab in the U.S.
02/04/2008 - 2nd DNA Done! yippie!
02/04/2008 - received "orange slip" for 2nd DNA
02/04/2008 - Submitted to the U.S. Embassy
01/31/2008 - Anna's Visa gotten.
01/30/2008 - Anna's New Birth Certificate received.
01/22/2008 - APPROVED - OUT OF PGN!
01/14/2008 - New Measurements taken for Anna - 15 pounds, height - 63 cms and head circumference 41 cms

11/14/2007 - Margaret Fed Ex "re-done documents" to Lawyer to be resubmitted to PGN. Margaret emailed documents to lawyer so he can start getting them translated, to be resubmitted to PGN.

10/30/2007 Dossier with 2nd Reviewer in PGN
10/13/2007 - New Measurements taken for Anna - Weight - 10.3 pounds, length - 56 cms, head cir. - 38 cms. In a month she gained 1.3 pounds, and grew 5 cms - Yippie!
10/23/2007 - Our dossier is back in PGN. PGN was closed on Mon. 10/22 for a holiday. Found out from our lawyer when we called him, that he attempted to resubmit our folder on Friday, but they were closed 1/2 day.
10/18/2007 - Anna is 3 months old
10/18/2007 - Our lawyer picked up our folder from PGN, to fix Date. One paper said 2006, where it should have said 2007.
10/15/2007 - Previo from PGN - Date on Document
10/09/2007 - At 2nd Reviewer in PGN - :)
10/01/2007 - In PGN! Yippie!
09/29/07 Pre Approval from the US Embassy in Guatemala
09/18/2007 Familiy Court Approval received. Anna is two months old.
09/18/2007 - New Measurements taken for Anna - Weight - 9 pounds, length - 51 cms, head cir. - 36 cms. WOW, in a month she gained 2.8 pounds, and grew 3 cms - Yippie!
09/04/2007 - We are in the Embassy waiting for Pre-Approval. Had to correct the date, because today (9/13) I spoke with the DNA lab and they said the Embassy signed for the DNA results on Sept. 4th. Everyday counts!
09/05/2007 - Lawyer received DNA results, they are good. :)
08/29/2007 - Received 171H form in the Mail, emailed it to our lawyer.
08/24/2007 - DNA completed.
08/23/2007 New Measurements taken on 8/20/07 for Anna - weight 6.8 pounds, length - 48 cms, head cir.34.5 cms.
08/23/2007 - Birthmom interview done, DNA will be done tomorrow - due to weather the Birthmom missed her appointment.
08/19/2007 DNA & Birthmom interview is scheduled for this week. Yippie!
