Referral Check Up
This evening our International Dr. here in the U.S. called to talk to us about Anna Maria. We used this same Dr. when we were adopting Peter, and it was very helpful throughout the adoption process knowing that our son was being well taken care of while in Guatemala, and he was growing at a steady rate for his age. So we decided to use the same Dr. for Anna Maria. He said that Anna was a tiny baby, and for two days old she was in the third percentile for length, head circumference, and weight. Margaret asked Dr. Lee if they should be concerned that she is only in the third percentile and he said no, because she was on the charts, and that she was only two days old when these measurements were taken. Dr. Lee said that he would continue to track her growth progress each month, when we send him the updates on her medical. Dr. Lee was surprised that we didn't have a whole bunch of questions, like we did with Peter. But I told him that we were use to it, and I didn't have any concerns with the pictures, because she looks adorable.
