Anna has been home for a week, and it feels like months..........

Anna has been home a week, and it feels like months because things are GREAT! Peter is a great big brother, and mommy is sooo soo happy that he has shown NO signs of jealousy! Peter has been very helpful with Anna, and it is sooo soo nice to see both of them play together. Over the past week, we have had a few visitors.

On Thurs. we went to Grandma's house to visit, and while there Aunt Jean was there to see Anna.

On Friday we just hung around the house and caught up on laundry.

Saturday Auntie Pam and Emily came over to visit and they brought a cool gift for Anna, and of course Big brother got a gift too. Emily wasn't too happy about her mom holding the baby.

Sunday, the family just hung out and played and napped.

Monday, Aunt Joann and Uncle Les and the Woolley Kids (cousins) came by to visit, and they got Anna very cute dresses to wear. Peter was soo happy to have "big" (his age) over to play.

Tuesday, cousin Christine and cuz Gianna came by to visit, and brought Anna a spring Dress. Then we took a walk around town. Margaret with the kiddos in the double stroller, which worked out great!

Wednesday, Peter had school at 9:30am, so Mommy had to get up early to get Anna up, so she can be fed breakfast before we left. We managed to get to school with time to spare. LOL. Everyone loved Anna, and Peter being a big brother - was protective to make sure nothing was going to happen to Anna.

Today, we are going to Grandma's house to visit, and to give her pictures of the kiddos so she can show them to her friends, who have been asking about Anna and Peter. After Grandma's we are then going to mommy's cousin's house to hang a welcome home sign. Today mommy's cousins are coming home with their daughter who they adopted from Russia, Alina is the same age as Peter.

On Monday, we started Anna on cereal, she did not like it one bit. So on Tues while walking around town, mommy bought baby food (fruit) to mix with it - Anna likes it much better mixed with fruit. As for Anna sleeping through the night, she has been great with that. She usually only gets up once for a diaper change and a sip of formula and then she goes right back to sleep. And she loves to sleep in. It is now 9:15am and Anna is still sleeping. Anna is definitely a talker, she just gabs and gabs and laughs.

As for today's date: This date two years ago, was our U.S. Embassy appointment to finalize Peter's adoption. How time flies!
