Anna is Officially our Daughter....

Hey all,

Well, Margaret called Edwin and spoke to him about what was going to take place, since we were out of PGN. In the next two days, he is going to get all the documents (new Birth Cert., passport, etc) that is needed to submit to the US Embassy to get the "orange slip" which will allow him to get the 2nd DNA test. The 2nd DNA test is something new, to make sure the baby that started off in the adoption is the same baby at the completion of the adoption. If all goes well, we should have our 2nd DNA done on Tuesday 1/29th. And he said about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks after that we should be traveling to pick up our Daughter! Yippie, we are soo excited, it will be nice to get Anna home. We also found out, that Edwin had Anna's Birth Mom sign the final document this evening (after he called me at 4:02pm -Guat time), so ANNA IS OFFICIALLY OURS!

Wow, I can't believe our Anna is finally coming home. PGN was a long wait, and we are honestly glad it is over! Now we just have to deal with the US Embassy, and I rather deal with them.
