In the meantime, Margaret called Carolina, Anna's foster mother - to apologize if she (Margaret) offended her in any way, when she asked Carolina to take pictures of her neighborhood, house. etc. to put in Anna's Life book (the other night when they talked). Because, when Margaret was visiting in January she got the memory card of the pics Carolina took, and there was 302 adorable pictures of Anna. So when Margaret called Carolina last week, she asked to take other pictures of where Anna is living to put in Anna's life book. Not realizing, that not everyone is comfortable with that request. But, Carolina wasn't offended at all, and said that it didn't bother her, for Margaret to request pictures for Anna's life book. Carolina also told Margaret, this weekend the family is going on a little day trip and she said she'll be taking a lot of pictures there also. So that was nice to know.
We really do need to count our blessings that Anna will be home very soon. We are very grateful for everyone who was involved in our adoption to get Anna home. Carolina will always be remembered, because she & her family were a very important part of Anna's life for the first 6 months of her life.
This is something that Jacqueline emailed me today, and it is sooo true......thanks for sharing it with us Jacqueline.
Count Your Blessings!
Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Love your neighbor as much as yourself.
