Margaret called Carolina with the help of Soni (thanks Soni) to see how Anna was doing. Anna is doing great. Carolina was also very happy that we were finally out of PGN. She said her family is very happy, but very sad because Anna will be leaving them soon. Margaret told Carolina that she will send her pictures of Anna throughout the years. Peter has been home for 2 years, and his foster mom still gets pictures of Peter with notes sent to her.
Margaret asked Carolina how Anna was when she got her ears pierced. Carolina said she cried for a second but was fine.
Margaret told Carolina that she will be calling back in about a week or so, and hopefully will have a travel date by then.
It is so exciting that Anna is finally coming home. I know Carolina and her family will miss Anna, but they are also happy to know that Anna is going home to a wonderful family. I do give a lot of credit to all the foster mothers out there, because I know I wouldn't be able to take care of a baby and then have to say good bye to it. That would be too hard for me to handle. It takes a certain kind of person to be able to do that. I appreciate everything Carolina has done for Anna, along with Edwin and Jacqueline and their family. All of their love and care shows in Anna, becasue she is such a happy baby.
